The Rich Woman I Pretended to Be Was Actually My Future Self

The first time Lin Jianxia became a rich woman, it lasted just one hour.

At midnight, she was still in an old movie theater calculating unpaid wages. When she opened her eyes again, the city outside the floor-to-ceiling windows was ten years in the future. Everyone was waiting for her to speak, calling her Chairwoman Lin.

The money was real, the house was real, and the face was really hers.

Only those ten years were missing. She hadn't lived a single day of them.

At one in the morning, Lin Jianxia returned to the familiar projection room and discovered that someone had used her body to sign documents, pay off debts, and leave her a to-do list.

It turned out that while she was in the future pretending to be a rich woman, the rich woman had come back to pretend to be her.

The younger one thought the other was too controlling; the older one thought her younger self had been incredibly difficult. They sabotaged each other, but also helped each other through hard times. One finally got to buy the things she'd once wanted, while the other got to taste the street food she'd enjoyed ten years ago.

Until Lin Jianxia realized that memories that didn't belong to her were starting to linger after dawn.

She thought she had borrowed a rich life for one hour.

But what her future self wanted to leave behind was far more than an hour.
