My Strategist Doubao Tells Me Not to Chase Him

[College Campus] [Youthful Sweet Romance] [Mutual Pursuit] [One-on-One Happy Ending]

Song Yi was the one who added him on WeChat, the one who started conversations, and even the one who asked Chen Yue if he wanted to go to Friday's outdoor movie.

He replied, "We'll see."

Song Yi carefully recounted their chats to Doubao. Her strategist advised her to stop reaching out for a while and see whether he would make the first move.

She agreed readily.

On Friday, she still put on the green plaid skirt she'd picked out.

But the movie was suddenly canceled. As the crowd dispersed, she was about to head back to her dorm when Chen Yue called out to her.

"Want to grab something to eat?"

Later, he invited her to a voice-acting event, stayed with her through a night of failed test recordings, and showed her a lopsided little creation he'd made himself.

Song Yi began to realize that he had much more to say in person than he did on WeChat.

Just as she finally worked up the courage to tell him face-to-face how much she liked him, Chen Yue came to meet her for their next date, carrying words he'd been saving for a long time.

It turned out she wasn't the only one who wanted to spend a little more time together that day.
