One Piece: Nika Awakens, but Is My Relative's Devil Fruit Too Overpowered?

[Transmigration] [Pirate King] [Comedic Absurdity] [Overpowered Family Network] [Wits and Strategy] [Everyone's Wild Speculation]

The power levels have already gone completely off the rails, so what's wrong with me eating a Family Devil Fruit?

After transmigrating into the world of the Pirate King, Lu Yuan ate a Devil Fruit he'd never seen before. It didn't make him stronger or awaken any powers, and it turned him into a landlubber.

Only after scouring the encyclopedia did he find the name of this apparently useless fruit: the Family Devil Fruit.

"The only fruit that can't be used in combat." Lu Yuan wanted to die on the spot. He decided to hide out on a safe little island until the story's ending.

But on his very first day at sea, Buggy nearly chopped his head off. The instant the blade was pressed to his neck, the fruit's ability activated on its own.

"Wait... don't you look like the nephew of the fishmonger at my third uncle's place? That means you have to call me big brother!" Buggy lowered his knife, tears streaming down his face. "Brother, come with me!"

From that day on, Lu Yuan's lazy, do-nothing life was completely over.

Wherever he went, the fruit assigned him the most outrageous family connections.

The Marines pursued him, and Vice Admiral Garp knocked the pursuers flying with one punch. "This kid is the same generation as my grandson. Who dares lay a hand on him?"

The Shichibukai tried to kill him, but Moria tossed aside his scissors. "Your grandma's neighbor sells vegetables at the crossroads by my old man's place. We're family."

The Four Emperors set their sights on him, and Shanks made a phone call. "Buggy says we're related? Then he's family to me, too."

He had no Haki, and even his basic martial arts were a complete mess. But he had a mind that had seen the entire story, and an address book that could summon half the heavy hitters in the pirate world with a single phone call.

Lu Yuan looked at the grim-faced big shots behind him and wanted to cry. "I really just want to hide away and do nothing!!!"

All the big shots in the world answered in unison: "No way!"
