After Grandpa Ran Me Over, I Built a Mafia in Detective Conan

[Detective Conan fanfiction + a little influence from other American comics + making up for regrets + no romance + school life + light novel + System]

After she was accidentally killed by a certain scientist named Sanchez who fell out of the sky, Yu Cheng Qianxu opened her eyes and found herself in the perilous world of Detective Conan.

“Roast System activated: Keep roasting to rack up points!”

Qianxu, a young woman from a discreet but well-off family, had long since seen through the world's curse of death: murder cases everywhere, sudden explosions, and the Black Organization lying in wait. Falling in love was a high-risk way to get yourself killed. She had a far grander goal than romance: to build her own power, command information and strength, and keep her fate in her own hands.

As long as she kept roasting, she could earn System points. From small items like self-defense weapons and physical enhancements to future technology and supernatural abilities, she could redeem anything she wanted. So she stuck to her no-nonsense roasting principles: don't waste a small roast, and don't let a big one go.

As an old friend of Shinichi Kudo, she was constantly getting caught up in all kinds of crime scenes. While using System buffs to avoid danger and stay alive, she worked hard to expand her own gang, all while fending off the terrible love interests who kept cropping up around her.

Conan: “That Hanezumi girl turned down another confession.”

Heiji Hattori: “She's so gorgeous, but she's way too cold when it comes to romance!”

Qianxu's inner monologue: Romance is nowhere near as sweet as points. Dating is out of the question. Building my gang is the top priority. I'm my own greatest support.
