Tomb Raiding: The Last Living Member of the Qi Family

[The Grave Robbers' Chronicles Fan Fiction + The Iron Triangle + Original Tombs + No System + No Romance]

The records left behind by the Nine Families say that Qi Tie Zui's line died out long ago.

Yet a young man named Qi Ye has arrived in Yucun. He carries a rusty biscuit tin, an ancestral map, and a name that has never appeared in the Nine Families' genealogy: Qi Guoliang.

Wu Xie finds Qi Guoliang in the old ledgers of the Wu family. For decades, Wu Laogou had been paying school fees for a child surnamed Zhou. The only note on the ledger reads: No one in Changsha must know his surname is Qi.

At the same time, a southern well caves in on the hill behind Yucun. Three tomb raiders go in, but only two make it out.

Qi Ye follows the Iron Triangle down the well. Deep in the tomb passage, they find modern bandages, restraints, drainage holes, and an underground treatment room that is still in use. A wounded man left behind an iron door wakes up and begs them not to let anyone change his name. But the records in a cabinet say that this man died seventeen years ago.

This tomb deals in the identities of the living. Some are declared dead, some take the names of the dead, and the original people disappear from every record.

Qi Ye only wanted to find out who his grandfather was. By the time he gets to the bottom of it, he discovers that someone has already prepared another name and a death certificate for him, too.
