I Have to Hurry Up to Save the Nation

Two male leads + nation-building survival + sweet romance + satisfying power fantasy + System-based story

The whole world is pulled into a “National Destiny Survival Game.” One representative from each country is chosen at random to survive in another world, and their performance determines their country’s national fortunes for the next year. China draws Lin Qing, a burned-out office worker who was just fired for overwork, and the livestream chat erupts in despair.

But in the other world, Lin Qing steps into a hot spring, and the System prompts: “Soak in the hot spring for 20 minutes, and your country’s green coverage increases by 0.5%. Host’s happiness level meets the requirement. Reward doubled.”

The entire country falls silent. The military holds an overnight meeting and issues an order: “Comrade Lin Qing, your only mission is to take a vacation.”

The elite soldier Duan Zhi is assigned to protect him. His reports go from “Target is taking a bath” to “He made me a grass ring. I’m wearing it.” Lin Qing has a barbecue, and grain reserves rise. He plants a seed, and desert restoration advances by 5%. He teaches Duan Zhi to play a game, and the cultural industry soars. The global livestream chat goes wild: Why is China’s representative drinking tea, skipping stones, and picnicking?

When the despairing “City of Eternal Night” instance opens, Lin Qing volunteers to fight for the first time. “How could I be happy when Duan Zhi has to face despair alone?” In the endless night, he takes out a luminous orb made from the encouragement of tens of millions of people and softly says, “Come on, cheer up.”
