She thinks she is helpless prey, but who could have guessed that her life-bound Golden Gu would awaken on the spot!

When awful relatives try to sell her, poisonous insects bite them until they’re crawling all over the ground. When her wicked grandmother tries to hit her mother, her hand rots and breaks out in spots, and she drops to her knees begging for mercy.

With Gu control in one hand and money-making in the other, the adorable little girl helps her mother make a fortune in the 1980s and tears into every awful relative!

Once life is going well, A Yin pulls out an old, yellowed photograph and vows to find the scumbag father who abandoned his wife and child, then use Gu to settle the score.

But when a Beijing-plated Jeep pulls into the village and a cold-faced commander, a general with a star on his shoulder whose presence makes the whole region tremble, holds her close with red-rimmed eyes,

A Yin glances at the deadly poisonous Gu that has just crawled up the commander’s neck and tilts her head. "Mom, should we still poison this commander, my real dad?"
