I, the Tiger Immortal, Became the First Great Trial of the Journey to the West

Li Yin transmigrates into Journey to the West and becomes the cannon fodder destined to have his head chopped off by the Monkey King in the Kingdom of Chechi: the Great Immortal Tiger Power.

At the brink of despair, he awakens the [Great Dao Incense and Faith System]!

As long as he intercepts Journey to the West's fortune, he can seize Buddhist incense and faith by force, and resurrect the ancient mighty figures listed on the Investiture of the Gods!

With the pilgrimage party closing in, Li Yin not only refuses to flee, but erects statues and burns incense like mad.

"Ding! Intercepted the pilgrimage's fortune, resurrecting the Three Cloud Maidens!"

"Ding! Stole incense and faith from the Heavenly Court, resurrecting Kong Xuan and Zhao Gongming!"

When Tang Sanzang and his disciples enter the Kingdom of Chechi, they expect nothing more than a minor tribulation, but are instantly dumbfounded.

Sun Wukong: "You old Tathagata, you call this a tribulation? That tiger nearly slapped me back into a stone!"

Guanyin: "Buddha, we can't get through the Kingdom of Chechi! Behind that tiger demon, Lady Yunxiao is tearing up the Investiture of the Gods with her bare hands and setting up the Nine-Bend Yellow River Formation to meet us!"

Watching the Demon Clan's Heavenly Court, rebuilt on the foundation of the Kingdom of Chechi, rise into the Thirty-Third Heaven, Tathagata's composure crumbles completely.

Li Yin chuckles. "You think you can use my Demon Clan as an experience farm? You're not taking another step on this pilgrimage today!"
