Exiled, I Spoil the Crown Prince with My Superhuman Maid

[Exile + farming + strongwoman + disgraced crown prince + spatial storage + business + devoted couple + everyday family life]

In the final battle of the apocalypse, superhuman strength user Sang Mansui died alongside the Zombie King.

When she opened her eyes again, she had become a palace servant who had worked in the Eastern Palace for twelve years.

Good news: she would be free in three days.

Bad news: the Crown Prince's rebellion had failed.

Even worse news: she had been exiled along with him.

Qi Jibai, the once lofty Crown Prince, had been stripped of his title and reduced to a commoner. Both his legs were broken, and he was sent to the desolate northern frontier.

On the way into exile, he tore up Sang Mansui's contract of servitude with his own hands.

"You're free. Go."

Sang Mansui looked at the wilderness around them, then at herself, penniless.

"Before I go, shouldn't you pay me the wages I've earned over the past twelve years?"

Qi Jibai: "..."

No money?

Then he'd owe her for now.

And so a woman with superhuman strength and a disgraced crown prince with two crippled legs began making a life together.

Other people used oxen to clear fields.

Sang Mansui pulled the plow herself.

Other people ran when they saw a bear in the mountains.

Sang Mansui carried one back and asked whether they should braise it or make soup for dinner.

Everyone said the northern frontier was bitterly cold and couldn't support a population.

But Sang Mansui dug irrigation canals, planted crops, opened workshops, and started a business, slowly turning the poor valley everyone looked down on into a prosperous place. Years later, the court finally cleared Qi Jibai's name and invited him back to the capital.

Qi Jibai instead turned to the woman beside him, who was calculating this year's harvest, and asked:

"Do you want to go back?"

Sang Mansui didn't even look up.

The fields haven't all been planted yet. Why go back?
