The Jingnan Campaign: I, the Fourth Prince, Command the Iron Pagoda Troops

In the early years of Yongle, the aftermath of the Jingnan Campaign had yet to settle, and undercurrents stirred through the imperial court.

As a prince, Zhu Huan held secret cards in the form of the Jinyiwei. Using the search for Jianwen loyalists as a pretext, he secretly laid plans for maritime supremacy.

The Crown Prince was stingy, the Prince of Han fought for the throne, civil officials were corrupt and smuggled goods, and the treasury was empty. Zhu Huan took an unconventional approach: trade was too slow, so he would simply sail abroad and seize the wealth of foreign lands!

He won over Li Jinglong to train troops, gathered the fierce warriors of the Duoyan Guard from the grasslands, and built five-masted warships armed with cannons and rockets. He crushed wokou pirates and sea bandits along the coast, dominating all the petty powers at sea.

By chance, he uncovered a shocking secret about the silver mines of Iwami Province in Japan. He detained a tribute mission, pretended to support the shogunate in unifying the island nation, and secretly coveted its vast silver reserves.

Court intrigue, distant maritime campaigns, overseas plunder, and a struggle for the throne: watch as Prince Jing Zhu Huan turns the sea into a chessboard and his blade into a game piece, amassing a fortune and stirring up the fortunes of the Great Ming and foreign nations, one step at a time!
