One Piece: Sea-Walking Asura

In the year 1507 of the Sea Circle Calendar, in a slave cell in Mary Geoise, a boy named Yonge is counting how many people died today.

Kidnapped at twelve and branded with the Celestial Dragons' hoof, he has spent four years in hell. His only pastime is betting on who will die next.

Then flames tear through the night sky above the Red Line.

He kicks open the cell door and leads a group of slaves toward the cliff, leaping into the deep sea.

Behind them are pursuers, beneath them the unknown, and at his side is a cold-faced little girl and her two younger sisters.

This is Yonge's first escape. It won't be his last.

He finds a cursed ghost ship, the Flying Dutchman. He cuts out his own heart and seals it in a soul-gathering coffin, trading it for an immortal body.

From then on, a madman roams the seas.

The story of a boy who goes from slave to Asura, taking a diving ghost ship, a band of demons that feed on emotions, and a heart hidden in the underworld, as he launches an assault on Mary Geoise.
