From the Start, I Use the Horse Talisman to Pose as a God in 1900

In 1900, amid the national catastrophe of the Gengzi Year, China lay in ruin as foreign armies trampled its lands.

By chance, Chu Jingzhe binds himself to the Sacred Lord Reputation System and gains a two-way portal connecting the modern world with the late Qing Dynasty.

Arriving in this era, he witnesses his countrymen treated like weeds, foreigners swaggering with impunity, and the Qing court groveling for mercy.

Consumed by fury, Chu Jingzhe decides: if this court is rotten to the core, then he will restore the land himself!

He draws the Horse Talisman from the start, bringing the dead back to life and earning the worship of the people as a living god.

He builds his reputation and unlocks the Ox Talisman, then smashes a foreign armored train with one punch!

He unlocks the Pig Talisman, and its laser eyes melt through the cannons of the foreign concessions!

He unlocks the Dragon Talisman, and an endless barrage of explosions completely vaporizes the Eight-Nation Alliance's Far Eastern fleet!

When the Eight-Nation Alliance reaches the gates, intent on carving up China,

Chu Jingzhe towers high above the clouds, the divine light of all twelve talismans swirling around him as he looks down upon their armies.

"China lies ahead. Gods are forbidden to enter. Trespass, and die!"
