Imprisoned for Making a TV Drama, the National Team Escapes Death Using Its Script

Shen Wang transmigrates into a world with a gap in its historical record. To activate the System, he films an adventure web series called Grave Robbers' Chronicles.

Who would have thought that after just one episode, a fully armed SWAT team would burst through his door!

“Shen Wang, you’re suspected of involvement in a major tomb-raiding case. You’re coming with us!”

Shen Wang is stunned. I’m a legitimate director, for crying out loud!

At the same time, the national archaeological team livestreams their expedition into the “Seven-Star Death Tomb,” a place from which no one returns. But they run into swarms of corpse beetles and blood corpses, and are on the brink of being wiped out.

Just as all hope seems lost, a horrified viewer notices that the team’s situation is exactly the same as what happened in Shen Wang’s series!

The whole internet goes wild!

“The director’s still stuck working a sewing machine in prison. The national team needs to follow his script and run for their lives!”

“Get the director to release the next episode! The whole team’s about to be wiped out!”

When officials arrive at the prison by helicopter and beg Shen Wang to take charge, he sighs. “Let me say it again: I’m really not some grandmaster of tomb raiding. Those were special effects!”

The moment the words leave his mouth, the qilin tattoo on his body bursts into dazzling golden light…
