Hong Kong Crossover: The Suit-Wearing Thug Who Crushes the Triads

After transmigrating into the world of Hong Kong crime dramas in the 1980s, Lin Yaozu finds himself in Kowloon Walled City from the start, a poor student at the very bottom who can’t even afford protection money.

Fortunately, he awakens the “All-Around Academic Prodigy Tycoon System.” By studying and learning all kinds of subjects, he can gain specialized skills and enormous wealth.

While Chan Ho-nam and Ugly Kwan are fighting to the death on the streets over a few blocks of territory, Lin Yaozu is tutoring Ruan Mei at a luxury mansion atop Victoria Peak.

When Chiang Tin-sang, Lian Ho-lung, and others try to get their hands on his sprawling business empire, he welcomes them with the financial guillotine of a stock-market short and heavily armed overseas mercenaries.

He never starts trouble, but he never shows mercy either. Always impeccably dressed and mild-mannered, he is nevertheless a suited thug who terrifies the entire underworld.

He uses business monopolies to dominate Hong Kong, the law to send gang bosses to Stanley Prison, and overwhelming force to sweep through both the legitimate and criminal worlds across the globe, forging a path to power unlike any other.

Years later, Lin Yaozu controls the lifeblood of the global economy, a dark tycoon standing atop the world and surveying the age below.
