The Past of the Crimson Performer

[Urban Fantasy] [Supernatural Powers] [Mystery and Horror] [Folklore and the Paranormal] [Opera] [Ghosts] [Family Fate]

Three people die in a row on Sanqing Street, each in a bizarre, theatrical manner. Criminal investigator Yi Xiangnan is pursuing the murders when, beneath the ruins of the Sanqing Opera House, abandoned for twenty years, he pushes open a door leading to an underground stage. Buried there are the bones of a scarlet-clad opera performer from the Ming and Qing dynasties, along with the truth behind his father's disappearance, and a long-forgotten story.
