The Demonic Rune Path to Heaven

If this world treats me like dirt, then I’ll remake the universe.

If the Heavenly Dao is unjust, I’ll tear the sky apart!

I’m no savior, and I’m certainly not the demon they call me.

I’m just Lu Ming.

An ordinary man who refuses to kneel or bow his head…

If this is destined to be a demonic path, then I’ll walk it to the end and see who dares stop me!

Opening words of The Demonic Path of Heavenly Patterns

Lu Ming, a young man from Qingwu Town, bears an old heirloom jade pendant and has endured the contempt of the world. When his enemies drive him into a corner, the pendant awakens as he teeters on the brink of death, letting him glimpse the truth of the world: spiritual energy is made of mysterious runes, and all laws are twisted shackles.

From then on, he sets out on a path unlike any before. The earth’s flames boil for him, heavenly demons call him by his true name, and ancient monsters bow before him.

The world calls him a demon, but amid a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood, he smiles and says:

“The demons you speak of are nothing but the freedom in my heart!”

When the apocalypse arrives and the heavens weep blood, he stands above all living beings, with countless demonic shadows kneeling behind him.

“The Heavenly Dao is unjust, so I’ll reshape it. All living beings are ignorant, so I’ll redefine reincarnation.”

“From this day on, I, Lu Ming, am the only law of this world!”
