I’m a Rebel in the Great Song, and the Emperor Begs Me Not to Leave

My name is Lin Xuanmo. I transmigrated to the Northern Song and got bound to a System.

The System said, “Start a rebellion. The rewards are generous.”

I thought that sounded good. So I cursed out the constables, wrote rebellious poems, impeached Cai Jing, and argued with the Liao envoy at a state banquet… Every step was a spectacular attempt to get myself killed.

And yet, the people called me Lin the Upright, Su Shi became my sworn brother, Shen Kuo chased after me calling me “Teacher,” and Di Qing wanted to be my underling.

Even Emperor Zhao Ji grabbed me and wept, “My dear subject, you are the Song dynasty’s last loyal minister!”

Me: ???

I’m seriously trying to rebel! Could you all stop imagining things?!
