My Alpha Roommate Is Pursuing Me

[ABO | Roommate life | Sweet romance | Modern romance | Mutual devotion]

When Qin Luo rented an apartment, the agent duped him. He thought his roommate would be a mild-mannered Beta, but on move-in day, his keen sense of smell exposed the truth: his roommate was an Alpha.

Jiang Heng, a graduate student at the law school, looked refined and put-together, always dressed in a suit. His pheromones smelled like fresh grass after a crisp rain. In private, though, he hogged the living room to play video games all night, and couldn’t help grumbling under his breath whenever he lost.

After a week of being put through this, Qin Luo finally couldn’t take it anymore and protested.

Instead of getting defensive, Jiang Heng earnestly asked Qin Luo to teach him how to get along with Omegas.

From then on, Jiang Heng gradually changed. He turned down the game volume. When he lost, he’d bring Qin Luo a cup of hot milk and softly complain to him, seeking comfort over his defeat. He stopped making noise in the middle of the night. Whenever he had a sudden idea, he’d write it on a little note and quietly slip it under Qin Luo’s door. Qin Luo, in turn, carefully saved every note.

One day, Qin Luo passed the kitchen and saw Jiang Heng seriously studying a memo. It listed Qin Luo’s favorite milk tea flavors and his habit of avoiding spicy food.

Looking at the man before him, Qin Luo’s heart was in turmoil, and his pulse raced. Only belatedly did he realize that he had already fallen for this Alpha. He finally understood that the other man had been planning to pursue him for a long time.
