Newlyweds Still Awkward, the Abstinent Tycoon Steals Kisses Night After Night

Song Shengsheng, 24, is forced by her stepmother to marry a spoiled playboy who spends his nights clubbing.

With nowhere else to turn, she grabs a stranger driving a Bentley by the roadside and blurts out, “Hey, handsome, are you looking for a wife?”

The man glances at her. “I am.”

They get married on a whim, sign the papers, and move into a mansion. Song Shengsheng thinks she’s hit the jackpot: he’s gorgeous and rich, like a gift from heaven.

The next day, the butler tells her she married Lu Shiyu, the head of the Lu Group in Jing City. He’s 35, worth hundreds of billions, and rumored to shun women and keep everyone at arm’s length. Countless heiresses have tried and failed to win him over.

Song Shengsheng looks down at the marks on her collarbone from last night, then at the rumpled sheets, and falls silent.

Wasn’t he supposed to shun women?

Wasn’t he supposed to keep everyone at arm’s length?

Last night, this man said “one last time” at least five times.

Later, she discovers that the aloof, taciturn Mr. Lu everyone knows isn’t just fond of lounging around at home without much on. He also loves bringing her cake in the middle of the night to feed her, then “feeding” her himself afterward.

At last, Song Shengsheng gets it: He does shun women. He just makes an exception for her.
