Feng Shui: Qingmu Hall Moves the Zhao Family’s Ancestral Grave from the Start

Su Yang’s great-grandmaster was the foremost feng shui master of the Republic of China era. He laid out a Returning Kirin formation that secured three generations of wealth for the Gu family, then a Three Suns Bringing Prosperity formation that brought the Zhao family thirty years of good fortune. In return for those two formations, his great-grandmaster vanished without a trace, his grandfather lost an arm, and the debt of karma dragged on for nearly a century. The Zhao family had made its fortune through feng shui. Now they were throwing their weight around and had seized the Su brothers’ family estate. Su Yang acted just once, breaking the auxiliary qi-gathering formation the Zhao family had hidden beneath an old locust tree. That very night, all three eternal lamps in the Zhao family ancestral hall went out. The Zhao family’s young master spent the night with his right hand twitching, and began vomiting up, one mouthful at a time, everything he’d swallowed. The Zhao family’s old master called him personally. “Young man, aren’t you acting a little hastily?” Su Yang replied, “I’ll collect what the Zhao family owes my great-grandmaster at my own pace. No need to rush.” But he had no idea that the bronze case his great-grandmaster left behind before disappearing contained a map marked with the words “dragon vein.” The Zhao and Gu families were no more than two pieces on a board. The real board lay beneath the land of China, and it had been waiting for him for a hundred years.
