The Sage Master Retires: I'm Done Serving This Lousy Sect

Officially licensed novel adaptation of Jiutian Manju’s original short drama, “The Hidden Sage: I’m Done Serving This Trash Sect”

Lin Yuan helped Shen Qing’er found a sect and cultivate her into a powerful practitioner. But after she grew suspicious of him and misunderstood his intentions, his ungrateful disciple drove him out. The Qingyun Sect disciples he had once helped either stayed silent or kicked him while he was down, mocking him. Shen Qing’er even sent people to hunt him in secret, and he was repeatedly humiliated along the way. Still, she remained convinced that he was nothing more than an ordinary man. Only when the sect was on the brink of destruction did she finally discover that Lin Yuan was, in fact, the revered master of all masters whom the great figures of the world spoke of with awe. Shen Qing’er and the others of the Qingyun Sect were consumed by regret, but it was too late to undo what they had done.
