Day After Day: The Warmth of Ordinary Life

An officially authorized novel adaptation of Liu Yuan Turbo's original short drama, Day After Day

Chen Mu, a down-on-his-luck supermarket owner, keeps a low profile in a small mountain-town community. By chance, he meets Lin Zhaozhao, an enthusiastic, forthright girl who works at a barbershop. Her bright, vibrant energy is like a shaft of warm light, catching Chen Mu off guard as it illuminates his once-gloomy world. Amid the town's everyday chaos, Chen Mu instinctively shields her, while her undisguised affection and closeness gradually lower his defenses. In these lively Jiangnan streets, the two go from pushing and pulling at each other to falling quietly in love. Chen Mu becomes utterly enamored with this simple warmth. All he wants is to hold her hand and spend their days together in this town, safe and happy year after year.
