Madam, Mr. Fu Is Pretending to Be Poor Again

The officially authorized novel adaptation of Jingyue Culture’s original short drama, My Lady, Mr. Fu Is Pretending to Be Poor Again

Lin Xi is a senior psychological counselor, determined to cure every handsome man’s psychological problems. Her younger sister, Lin Meng, breaks off her engagement to Fu Jingchen because of his “spending-money-heartbreak syndrome.” But Lin Xi sees that Fu Jingchen is “sick and handsome,” so she volunteers to take her sister’s place and marry him in a whirlwind wedding. After the wedding, she discovers just how incredibly stingy he is and proposes they split everything fifty-fifty. As their humorous day-to-day life brings them closer, real feelings begin to grow, and Fu Jingchen learns to spend money for love. Lin Xi unexpectedly discovers that she is the little girl Fu Jingchen has been searching for ever since the trauma of his childhood. In the end, she cures her husband’s emotional affliction. The couple live happily together, have twins, and find their happily ever after.
