I Climb the Ranks Despite Being Officially Listed as a Nobody

On a stormy night, the archives suddenly lost power. Han Zheng, a temp worker, discovered a file in the System that should not have existed. Its subject had been missing for seven years, yet the file continued to update and was even about to advance to a higher position.

Even stranger, every time this person moved up to a new position, a spot in the real world just happened to open up.

Han Zheng kept quiet and entered his own name. The next day, after four years as a temp, he finally became a permanent employee.

But he soon discovered that once a name was entered, it could never be removed. And if he stayed in one place, the trouble left behind in the spot before him would come looking.

To protect himself and uncover the truth about his father's past, Han Zheng had no choice but to climb ever higher through one file after another. It was only when he opened his own file that he realized the name he was using now might once have belonged to someone else.

Whoever is written on the page is the one who truly exists. But did those whose names were erased really never exist at all?
