This year, Zhou Weidong failed the college entrance examination and started delivering food with his father; Zhao Peng from the same village was admitted to Peking University and went to Beijing. One is working hard to save money in the auto repair shop, and the other is reading page after page in college. Two roads that seemed to have no intersection were quietly connected by the well in the village.
Three years later, Zhou Weidong returned to the village with 40,000 yuan and asked someone to dig a new well. On the day he came out of the water, he squatted on the well platform and drank a gourdful of water, then dialed his father's phone number.
