Wu Di, an aerospace engineering student about to graduate, transmigrates to the mid-Ming dynasty. He becomes sworn brothers with Li Chengliang and Qi Jiguang, then fights the Japanese pirates, the Jurchen, and the Mongols.
He saves the Ming dynasty before the Battle of Sarhu.
