Everyone Online Wants My Fortune-Telling, but I Ran Off to Build Infrastructure in the Underworld

[Metaphysics + Livestreaming + Underworld Infrastructure + Supernatural Games + No Romance + Ensemble Cast + Cute Pets and Kids]

Yu Zhao, a metaphysical prodigy from a thousand years ago, wakes up in the modern world in a new body and gets hit with an epic-level nerf: her fate is locked, her merit points are deducted, and her financial luck? Sealed outright.

To make money, she sets up a fortune-telling stall on the street and livestreams herself catching evil spirits, and "before she knows it," she goes viral across the internet.

The Nth day everyone's been waiting for her to go live: supernatural games sweep the globe overnight.

New Player Gift: Congratulations! You're going to die! (Odds: 0.01%, Rarity: SSS...)

"?"

Yu Zhao: "Little hands... stinky... stinky."

The Heavenly Dao: "Get to work. The human world is about to be finished."

The livestream is still running, and the comments keep flying:

[Holy crap, Sister Zhao, how do we clear this ghost wedding level?! She's here, help!]

[First do this, then do that...]

At last, under Yu Zhao's guidance, the underworld is overflowing with ghosts.

Yu Zhao spends all day managing the circulation of paper phones in the underworld, carrying spirit-evil toddlers, livestreaming from the realm of the dead, and building retirement homes for ghost officials and childcare centers...

The Heavenly Dao issues frantic warnings: "What kind of nonsense is this?! Humans are almost extinct, and you're still taking care of ghosts!"

The living across the internet are also frantically messaging Yu Zhao, hoping to fake their deaths and enter the underworld.

Yu Zhao smiles. "You want to die? I can help you with that."

"No, no! I don't really want to."

Yu Zhao: "See? What was there to argue about?"

"Enough talk. First, I need to cash out the pocket money these little ghosts tipped me!"
