Charlie IX: The Letter That Never Melts

Charlie’s nose failed him for the first time. Faced with a letter made of ice and snow, he couldn’t smell a thing. All he sensed was a strange chill that didn’t belong to this world. The letter said, “Please return our summer.” But everyone knew summer couldn’t be stolen, unless... the thief wasn’t even “human.” We arrived in Winter Town. There was no sun, no smiles, and no one even remembered why they were alive. But strangely, when the old people in town saw us, a flicker of fear crossed their eyes. “You... are the ones who should have come a hundred years ago.” Aaaah! Modo Duo was starting his “great detective” deductions again! But this time, Fuyou’s inventions weren’t working right, Tingting couldn’t find any scientific explanation, and even Husha was beginning to doubt himself... Who are we, really? And who sent this letter? And what about that boy, who looked exactly like Duoduo and was frozen inside the ice wall... The DODO Adventure Team’s mission this time: bring summer back.
