After Our Proxy Wedding, Mr. Lu Treats Me Like a Little Otter

Two Male Leads | Modern Wealthy Family | Substitute Bride | Marriage Before Love | Fake Disability | Light Mystery | Sea Otter Spirit | System | Sweet Romance | Both Leads’ First Love | No Angst

Ruan Tang was a young sea otter spirit who had just taken human form. The Ruan family shoved him into a wedding car to take the place of their runaway son and marry Lu Chen, who was rumored to be a sinister, disabled man.

System: [Host, your newlywed mission: pour this bowl of scalding-hot porridge on Lu Chen and wound him in body and spirit!]

Ruan Tang looked at the frighteningly cold face in the wheelchair and slipped in fright. Instead of spilling the porridge on Lu Chen, he scalded his own hand.

He thought he’d be kicked out of the Lu family, but Lu Chen carried him off to run cold water over his hand, his face dark with concern, then personally applied medicine. “From now on, test your meals three times before giving them to Madam.”

Later, the System told him to hide Lu Chen’s medicine, destroy his wheelchair, and humiliate him. But Ruan Tang messed up every time: he brought him fish soup before hiding the medicine, discovered someone was trying to harm Lu Chen while sabotaging his wheelchair, and clung to him at a banquet, refusing to let go. “Don’t bully my husband!”

Then a fire broke out in the greenhouse, and Lu Chen stood up from his wheelchair and carried him out through the thick smoke.

Lu Chen lowered his head and kissed away his tears. “My legs are fake. My feelings for you are real.”
