Fang Yuan has been delivering takeout for three years, braving wind and rain. He’s earned over a thousand five-star reviews, but still has no savings.
Then one day, he gets a courier job delivering a document to an upscale villa district. He knocks, the door opens, and a middle-aged man in a suit stands before him, with a line of bodyguards in black behind him.
The man takes one look at Fang Yuan and drops to his knees.
“Young Master Fang, we’ve finally found you after all these years!”
Holding his delivery bag, Fang Yuan says expressionlessly, “Your order is here. Please leave me a five-star review.”
The man’s eyes fill with tears. “The trillion-yuan fortune your father left behind will be divided up if you don’t take charge soon!”
Fang Yuan frowns. “Give me a minute. I’ve still got three more orders to deliver, and I’ll be penalized if they’re late.”
The whole city of Hangzhou goes wild.
The heir to the richest man in the country rides an electric scooter around town delivering takeout, with a line of Rolls-Royces escorting him;
financial tycoons sign up for seven different accounts just to order braised chicken and rice;
a top celebrity cries on her livestream: “He once delivered milk tea to me. I asked for extra pearls, and he really added them. That was when I knew I was going to marry this man.”
Everyone wonders when this mysterious delivery rider will return to his wealthy family.
Meanwhile, Fang Yuan looks at his delivery stats and sighs. “I made forty-seven deliveries today and got forty-six good reviews. Who gave me that bad review?”
The next second, his phone rings.
“Mr. Fang, someone is using ten billion yuan to launch a hostile takeover of your businesses!”
Fang Yuan’s eyes light up. “Find out if it’s the person who left me that bad review.”
A big shot isn’t scary. What’s scary is a big shot with a grudge.
