Help! The Aloof Doctor Is Actually a Mad, Obsessive Yandere

A cool, aloof doctor with a possessive streak × a tea-house owner who is slow to catch on

Song Wanwan, 25, heir to a family of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, transmigrates to the fictional Great Qi dynasty. She trades a jade bangle for 300,000 taels of silver and opens the capital’s first shop serving tea by day and wine by night.

Li Yunhe, thirty, runs the medical clinic next door. He is gentle, refined, and exceptionally skilled, and everyone says he’s a rare good man.

Until one day, Song Wanwan finds under his pillow the chipped hairpin she told him to throw away. She thought he’d tossed it long ago.

He keeps the damaged hairpin she gave him in a little box by his pillow. Late at night, he takes it out to kiss it, stroke it, and breathe in its scent again and again.

He cuts his own arm just to make her worry and bandage him.

He pretends to have a stomachache and collapses against her shoulder, carrying the scent of her hair on his breath.

She takes half a step back; he takes three steps forward. She smiles once; he goes mad a hundred times in secret.

In public, he is cool and proper, restrained and courteous. Where she can’t see him, he clutches her hairpin and chuckles. “Wanwan, you’re mine.”

Only belatedly does Song Wanwan realize that this man isn’t courting her.

He’s using his own methods to slowly draw her into his possession.

Song Wanwan: “If you like me but won’t say so, I’ll just have to mess with you!”

After a few shocks, Li Yunhe, always as gentle as jade, completely loses his mind!

Before they get together: the perfect gentleman on the surface, laughing maniacally behind her back.

After they get together: from moonrise to dawn, from home to the wilderness, from the clinic to the carriage, from the bedroom to the table, he wants to leave his mark in every corner

Meanwhile, Shen Xue’er, who came from the same era, is being pursued by a boy eight years younger than her.

In short, everyone gets a delicious love story.
