The Demon Lord's Right-Hand Strategist

Lin Zhiyi missed a step and transmigrated into the role of the Demon Lord’s strategist.

The demon realm had just finished a war and had a mountain of problems to deal with: the accounts didn’t add up, the rebels hadn’t been fully suppressed, and some deadbeat had owed three million demon crystals for a hundred years.

Demon Lord Cang Ming rubbed his temples, his head aching.

Lin Zhiyi glanced at the ledger. Wasn’t this just an ordinary day at work?

Three days later, she beat up the debtor, cleared out half a storeroom, and even took an extra chest of gold as interest.

Everyone in the demon realm was abuzz: A real tough character has joined the Lord’s side!

From then on

A little fox came by every day with food: “Miss Lin, I bought these pastries especially for you!”

The Demon Lord scoffed, then reached out and wiped the sesame seeds from the corner of her mouth.

Later, one drunken night, she pushed the Demon Lord down.

When she woke the next morning, she wanted to pretend she’d forgotten everything.

Cang Ming drawled, “Strategist Lin, you’re going to pull up your pants and pretend nothing happened?”

Lin Zhiyi: “???”

“Are you going to take responsibility for me?”

“R-Responsibility?”

“Mm.” He smiled. “Be mine. You can keep your job as strategist, and your salary will keep coming.”
