In 2026, the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean is on the verge of spiraling out of control.
A small fortress country that retains its red cedar flag is sandwiched between powerful neighbors to the south, terrorist-controlled areas in the east, external peacekeeping forces and strategic pressures from major powers.
A military plan called Operation Stepping Stone was taking shape. The powerful neighbor in the south is preparing to advance towards the border buffer zone, while the special operations force of another major power is launching gray operations on the eastern front.
Home Guard officer Nadeem Saleh wanted to protect his family on the edge of war, but was dragged back to the border when an eastern outpost was bombed. At the same time, clues suddenly came from his sister who had been missing for ten years.
On the other side, the leader of the Delta Operations Team, Ethan Mercer, was ordered to enter the terrorist-controlled area. He believed in process, authorization, and mission boundaries, only to discover that this operation was more than just counterterrorism from the beginning.
The south is firing, the east is burning.
Everyone says this country is just a stepping stone.
But under the cedars, there are always people who refuse to give way.

The writing is quite good. It's an imaginary novel. As long as you can find the corresponding prototype, there's no need to be picky. Come on, author!
Let me sigh again, if only Lebanon were so strong in reality, wouldn't squid dare to jump like that?
"For you, a thousand times over," I heard myself say. Then I turned around and I chased. It's just a smile, nothing more. It doesn't make everything go back to normal. It doesn't make anything return to normal. Just a smile, a small thing, like a leaf in the woods, swaying in the flight of frightened birds.
But I will greet it with open arms. Because every time spring comes, it always melts one snowflake at a time; and maybe what I just saw was the melting of the first snowflake.
I chase. An adult runs among a group of screaming children. But I don't care. I chased, the wind blew across my face, and a smile as big as the Panjshir Canyon hung on my lips.
I chase.
Come on, don't stop updating
Come on, the author writes well. When will the illustrations for Chapter 2 be added?
