The Penguin Prince: From the Start, He Calls Off His Engagement to the Superstar

Feng Zhuo is reborn as the low-key young heir of Penguin, ready to enjoy his trillion-yuan fortune.

But as soon as he returns to the country, the haughty queen of pop shows up with a contract, coldly demanding that they end their childhood engagement.

She bluntly says they now belong to different worlds, and Feng Zhuo has no right to hold back her dazzling career.

Feng Zhuo signs off on the breakup without hesitation because he knows the entertainment company she works for is just a small subsidiary of Penguin.

After the engagement ends, Feng Zhuo takes charge of all Penguin Video’s film and television assets and begins running the entire entertainment empire from behind the scenes.

The new talents he casually supports go on to break one ratings record after another, while the pop queen, deprived of Penguin’s recommendations, sees her resources plummet and her popularity nosedive.

When the queen is finally forced to swallow her pride and seek an audience with the mysterious investor who controls her fate, she finds Feng Zhuo drinking tea in the office.

Feng Zhuo smiles faintly. “Ex-fiancée, looking for resources? Get in line.”
