Great Ming: Lao Zhu Just Drew His Blade, and Empress Ma Bopped Him on the Head

Zhu Muying wakes up to discover he has transmigrated into the body of the fifth prince of the Great Ming during the Hongwu era.

Before he can enjoy the riches and glory, he’s bound hand and foot from the start and dragged to the execution ground to be beheaded!

The one who ordered his death is none other than the ruthless Hongwu Emperor, Zhu Yuanzhang.

With the executioner’s blade about to fall, the fifth prince of the Great Ming is as good as dead.

At this critical moment, Ma Dajiao, the virtuous empress for the ages, hikes up her skirts and charges frantically into the execution ground.

Clutched tightly in her hands is the priceless Imperial Jade Seal, the symbol of legitimate imperial authority.

“Zhu Chongba, if you dare lay a finger on my son today, I’ll smash your head in with this jade seal!”

To the utter shock of all the court officials, the Imperial Jade Seal comes down squarely on Old Zhu’s forehead.

From that day onward, Zhu Muying, the rebellious son of the Great Ming with his mother’s fierce protection, lets loose completely.

He builds firearms, lifts the ban on maritime trade, and opens factories, taking the Great Ming wildly off course and turning it into a world-dominating empire on which the sun never sets!

Years later, as he gazes upon the magnificent sight of all nations paying tribute and the Northern Yuan being beaten into extinction,

Old Zhu rubs the still-swollen lump on his head and silently sheds tears of deep regret.

“That rebellious brat is just too formidable. I actually wanted to have him executed back then. I must have been senile!”
