A Midsummer Night in Harbor City

[Youthful campus life | Healing | Mutual salvation | Ensemble cast in Hong Kong City]

Obsessive mad dog × resilient wild grass

The day the whole school spread rumors that Lin Fei was “pregnant before marriage,” she thought her youth had died for good.

After moving all the way from Northeast China to Hong Kong City to study, she met Mu Huaixing.

He came first in every exam, yet his eyes were as desolate as a graveyard. Everyone said he was a mad dog no one should provoke. Only Lin Fei knew that, in some deserted corner, he quietly licked his own bloodied wounds.

She thought his brokenness came from domestic abuse, and did everything she could to approach him and mend him with tenderness.

But the appearance of another girl ripped open the bloody truth: it was a torture buried in their youth.

“Lin Fei, don’t come near me. I’ve been rotten for a long time.” His eyes dark with menace, he shoved her away.

But she stubbornly wrapped her arms around him. Against his trembling back, she felt the ruins of an entire world.

I was once trapped in the mire, and you were the only light I wanted to hold on to.
