Great Qin: I Opened a Modern Academy in Xianyang

Shen Zhiheng transmigrates to the Great Qin and becomes a penniless debtor on the verge of being hounded to death by creditors outside Xianyang.

Creditors come knocking, nobles gather to watch, and even his last dilapidated courtyard is about to be torn down.

But just as he's driven to the end of his rope, the Modern Academy System activates.

When the gates of the ruined courtyard close, bright classrooms, blackboards and chalk, a student cafeteria, a library, laboratories, and rows of modern classrooms waiting to be unlocked appear inside.

From that day on, Shen Zhiheng begins recruiting the first students in Great Qin.

A poor boy learns bookkeeping in arithmetic class and uncovers ten years of losses in Xianyang's granaries in just three months.

An artisan's son learns to make cement, pulleys, waterwheels, and standardized parts in the laboratory, allowing Qin's supply wagons to reach the northern frontier three days early.

A young woman from a medical family learns sterilization, quarantine, and how to treat wounded soldiers in the medical hall, saving half a city's residents from an epidemic.

Everyone laughs at him for teaching useless tricks and novelties.

That is, until his students enter government offices and military camps, run workshops, and control epidemics. Even Meng Tian personally comes to request a batch of quartermasters.

The nobles at court finally panic.

They had thought Shen Zhiheng had opened nothing more than a shabby academy.

Only later do they understand that it is a modern academy in the process of swallowing the old era.

When the book-burning storm descends, Zhao Gao secretly lays his trap at Sand Dune, and Hu Hai is on the verge of ruining Great Qin, Shen Zhiheng stands before Xianyang Palace with three thousand academy students behind him.

"Your Majesty, Qin does not lack cavalry or laws."

"What Qin lacks are people who can keep this empire alive."

In this life, the modern academy opens in Xianyang.

In this life, Great Qin will not fall.
