Fleeing Famine: I Stockpile Food with Ten Women in My Pocket-Sized Refuge

[Alternate world] [Golden finger] [No CP] [Raising ten children together] [Partly a famine-escape story]

An eighty-year-old farmer wakes up in ancient times as the head of a family with no sons. He opens his eyes in a tumbledown shack, where his wife is near death after giving birth and their ten daughters are crying with hunger!

His heartless parents have run off with all the food, leaving a family of twelve to die in the middle of a severe drought. There's no food or water, and bands of refugees are going from house to house, robbing everyone!

But then he binds himself to a pocket-sized patch of fertile land. Its five mu of black soil improve themselves, produce two hundred jin of clean water a day, and grow crops three times faster than the outside world, without being affected by drought! As he levels up, the land grows even larger!

He has just found some hidden wheat seeds in the rafters when refugees kick in the neighbor's door. Guarding his newly sprouted wheat and a trough full of clean water, he turns his shabby courtyard into a drought-proof refuge that will keep his family alive!

He won't flee the famine or run away. While everyone else fights over food and water or chews tree bark, he grows wheat and raises his daughters inside the barrier, eating fine white flour at every meal even in a famine! Anyone who dares break in won't make it back out!
