Lu Yiping Is Reborn as Fu Wenpei

In her final moments, Lu Yiping from Romance in the Rain looks back on the tangled life she has lived. Then she travels back in time into her young mother’s body. She starts a business and stockpiles grain and supplies, raising her younger self all over again in her later years. She farms the land and builds a flour mill, a chicken farm, and a textile factory, supporting Lu Zhenhua’s anti-Japanese forces in every way and making sure Shanghai does not fall as it did in her previous life. She sends young Yiping, Lu Erhao, Lu Ruping, and the other Lu family children off to fight the Japanese. Young Yiping even inherits Lu Zhenhua’s full military prowess. In this turbulent era, two women embark on extraordinary lives.
