HP: I Was Just Lazing Around, But Now I’m Forced to Stir Up Trouble

[Fourth-Dimensional Disaster + Cedric survives + faction war begins at the end of fourth year + protagonist becomes a Death Eater, then rises to become the Dark Lord] Yu Jiang, an ordinary college student, unexpectedly joins a beta test for an immersive Hogwarts game, then... can't get out. Since you're here, make the best of it. A Fourth-Dimensional Disaster player's basic principle: You have to get the most awesome ending! The plan is perfect: Spend the day leveling up spell skills, Spend free time dating Cedric, the gentle Hufflepuff upperclassman, Wander around the Restricted Section and explore the Forbidden Forest whenever there's nothing to do, Enjoy a relaxing five-year stay at Hogwarts. Sounds great. But as soon as fourth year begins, Voldemort comes back to life, and the faction war kicks off. Yu Jiang (Merris): ??? I just wanted to date someone and take it easy. Why am I being forced to choose a side? And as the choices pile up... The gentle upperclassman becomes an ex, The haughty young master becomes an ally, A black snake mark appears on the inside of his left forearm, His corruption level skyrockets to 100, And he's about to unlock the “Death Eater Inner Circle” achievement. Yu Jiang: Wait, this wasn't my original plan! System: Too late. The Dark Lord already knows your name. Cedric: It's all right. I'll wait for you to come back. Draco: I'll walk the path you choose with you. Yu Jiang grips his wand and falls silent for three seconds. ...Never mind. Going dark actually feels pretty good. A Fourth-Dimensional Disaster player has to be the coolest one around, wherever they go.
