Cherry Blossom Soul, Bound in Captivity

On a rainy night in Konoha, Sasuke defected. After three years of grueling training, Sakura went to the edge of a cliff to find him. She reached out to stop him, only to have her palm pierced. One was trapped in longing, the other imprisoned by hatred, their souls entangled and pulling at each other. Two years later, they finally met again, yet it seemed they had both changed. Was she still Sakura Haruno? The cold moonlight fell over them both. Sasuke lowered his eyes to the bloodstained pink-haired figure beneath him. His voice was choked with all the bitterness he had been suppressing, and he cried out to her in anguish: “Didn’t you say you’d take me back to the village? Wake up!” The emerald-green eyes, cold and vacant, suddenly trembled. A faint glimmer flashed through them. Staring blankly at Sasuke, so close to her and looking at her with such anxious concern, a clear tear slipped uncontrollably from the corner of her eye and fell onto the dusty ground.
