Qi Tongwei Reborn: I Turn the Tables on Handong's Power Game

Gunfire rings out on Guling Ridge, and Qi Tongwei’s story ends with him taking his own life. Reborn, he returns to 1991, when he was hospitalized after being shot. In his previous life, he risked everything to fight drug trafficking, only for powerful families to take credit for his achievements. Forced to kneel in public, he spent half his life swallowing his anger before reaching a dead end. This time, he refuses to compromise or endure in silence. Facing Chen Yanshi, a man who looks down from on high, he tears off his hypocritical mask on the spot and severs every tie. As he seizes the opportunities of the times to amass wealth and build a formidable financial foundation, he also heads to Dongshan to crack down on drug trafficking, ruthlessly wiping out the forces poisoning the region as he steadily climbs the political ladder. By the time Hou Liangping arrives with a determination to investigate, and Sha Ruijin takes office to reform Handong, they are shocked to discover that Qi Tongwei already commands wealth and power, with deep-rooted influence and control over Handong’s affairs. Once a low-level officer who could be pushed around by anyone, he now holds a lofty position and commands a fearsome presence. As Hou Liangping arrives to investigate, Qi Tongwei calmly smokes a cigar. “In Handong, what I say goes now.”
