Forensic Files: Forbidden Cases!

“At midnight, never dissect those who died unjustly. Never lay a knife on a corpse in red.” Lu Mingyuan is a forensic pathologist, and a “Corpse Whisperer.” He can see the final seven seconds of a dead person’s memories, but he cannot feel any emotions. Only when his scalpel cuts into the chest of a bride dressed in red and a Republican-era wedding vow rings in his ears does he understand: some corpses were never meant to be opened. As scientific instruments begin measuring resentment and big data is used to analyze the behavior patterns of vengeful ghosts, he must discover the rules that allow both the living and the dead to survive before the next taboo is triggered.
