On Our Wedding Night, the Comatose God of War Prince Woke Up

Shen Tang is thrilled to be sent as a substitute bride to bring good luck to the prince. He's in a vegetative state, which means she gets a whole mansion and a lifetime allowance for free. On their wedding night, Shen Tang says, "Your Highness, rest easy. I'll make sure to spend every last deed, banknote, and shop on your behalf." The next moment, the prince opens his eyes. Shen Tang's face falls. "...Why did you wake up?" The prince frowns. "Who are you?" Shen Tang has only one thought. There goes the inheritance. Shen Tang smiles. "I was sent to bring you good luck, Your Highness. Please rest and get well. Don't push yourself." She thinks, if he doesn't die today, surely he'll die tomorrow? Day one, she brings his medicine. "Your Highness, this medicine is bitter. Drink it and get on your way sooner." Day two, she massages his legs. "Your Highness, your legs still aren't any better. Why don't we stop treating them and save the money for your coffin?" Day three, she helps him get dressed. "Your Highness, you don't look too well. Are you... close?" At last, the man speaks. "Are you really hoping I'll die that much?" Shen Tang's eyes light up. "When are you going to die? I'll burn you some paper offerings in advance!" The man falls silent. Shen Tang turns to mutter to her maid, "Did I annoy him back to life?" The maid says, "...Your Highness was never dead." Shen Tang sighs and lowers her head to keep doing the accounts. He didn't die again today, and now she's spent money on another meal. What a loss.
