My Trust-Fund Boyfriend

A forced relationship isn't just sweet, it's downright cloying. #Who says a rich playboy can't spoil his wife #He runs, he chases, and she can't get away

Lin Qing had the worst luck of her life when Gu Ruochen set his sights on her at a class reunion.

The eldest young master of the Gu family was the capital's number-one playboy. He spent money like water, was good for nothing, and lived by one rule: “If I want it, I have to get it.” Lin Qing politely turned him down. “Sorry, I'm into women, and I already have a girlfriend.”

Three days later, his girlfriend said goodbye.

A month later, Lin Qing's cousin, who worked for the Gu family, faced dismissal and a staggering compensation bill for a “mistake at work.” Lin Qing had no choice but to grit his teeth and beg that playboy for help.

Gu Ruochen crossed one leg over the other and smiled like a fox. “Sure. Keep me company for a month.”

Lin Qing gritted his teeth and put up with it. When the month was over, he was ready to run. Gu Ruochen waved a new promotion notice at him. “The manager's position is about to open up. Spend another six months with me, and I guarantee your cousin will get promoted to manager!”

Six months later, Lin Qing packed his bags. Gu Ruochen once again handed him an appointment letter for general manager. “One year. Just one last year. Once he settles into the general manager role, you can leave!”

A year later, Lin Qing demanded, “Can I leave now?”

Gu Ruochen looked innocent. “You did leave, didn't you? We left our old apartment and moved into a villa.”

Lin Qing: “...Gu Ruochen, you shameless thug! I'm telling your parents!”

Lin Qing stormed into the Gu home and tearfully recounted their son's misdeeds. Gu's parents slammed the table and jumped to their feet. “That little devil! Kidnapping a man by force is a heinous crime! Call the police! He needs to be locked up for eight or ten years!”

Lin Qing was stunned. “No, no... It wasn't exactly kidnapping...”
