I Burned the Urn on My Knees, Then Rose to Find the Whole City Kneeling

Shen Zhao knelt and burned the urn. When she stood up, the entire city was kneeling and begging her to forgive them. Seven years ago, she was sent to a psychiatric hospital for being “mentally unstable.” Now she has returned, and a single urn has set the city on edge. Li Yan, a crematorium worker, secretly watches over her every move. Chen Zhihui, a blind archivist, pieces together the truth through folk songs. And the remorse of Yu Wanqiu, the city’s richest woman, turns out to be the beginning of an even greater conspiracy. Only when the whole city falls to its knees does Shen Zhao realize that the one who truly deserves forgiveness is the self who once believed in the light.
