Ginkgo Leaves Fall in Chang'an: Princess Changle Is My Little Sister

When the most honored princess of the Tang Dynasty becomes an undocumented person in the modern world, physicist Qin Changan is forced to take her under his wing: On the first day, she bows to an electric light. By the first month, she's staying up late to study genetics. By the first year, she's crying over a DNA report and soaking half his shirt with tears. Then, with red-rimmed eyes, she says, “I want to go back and save my mother.” He quietly brings up three years of geomagnetic data: “Perfect timing. I've already calculated your escape route.” History later records: In the seventh year of Zhenguan, the Empress recovered, and Princess Changle disappeared. Meanwhile, in modern Xi'an, a “cousin and cousin” pair is often seen strolling beneath the ginkgo trees.
