Synopsis

[Lots of original headcanons, purely fictional plot, no implications about the real people. Timeline starts in December 2020. No rookie protection, slow pacing.] Shen Yiyang has two secrets. The first is that he wants to become the best jungler in the KPL. The second is that he’s in love with Xu Xinzhen, and has been for years. First, he watched the spirited, brilliant mid laner through the tournament cameras. Then he became the teammate standing by his side. Shen Yiyang debuted with Chongqing QGhappy, dazzling everyone in his first match. He sat through the cold days on the substitute bench and stood beneath the golden rain at the finals. Everyone said QG had raised another monster jungler. Only he knew that his long, sweeping unrequited love had grown alongside his career. Later, he joined Guangzhou TTG and became Xu Xinzhen’s teammate, spending every day together, training and reviewing matches, standing side by side on the finals stage. He thought he’d hidden his feelings well. Until after that match, Xu Xinzhen suddenly turned his head and called his name with a smile. “Shen Yiyang.” “Do you especially like playing matches with me?”
