I Started by Throwing My Kid Under the Bus! My Daughter Is the Queen of Variety Shows

Twenty-three-year-old Lin Zhou, the most unreliable post-2000s dad on the internet, gets ambushed by his daughter and dragged onto a parenting variety show.

Other dads show off their cooking, their talents, and their mountain-like paternal love.

He, on the other hand, lies flat on the show with his five-year-old daughter, slacking off, getting even with each other, and taking a laid-back approach to parenting.

The result...

He hangs his daughter's bunny plushie from the ceiling light, and she retaliates by freezing his electric toothbrush in the freezer.

He tells her to go grocery shopping by herself. She takes fifty yuan and comes back carrying a live duck.

He teaches her tongue twisters, and she spills every last embarrassing detail about how he was still wetting the bed at age three in front of tens of millions of viewers.

The whole internet cracks up: "Can this father-daughter duo stop being so relatable?!"

The production team originally wanted to make a heartwarming, healing parenting show.

Instead, Lin Zhou and his daughter turn it into a full-blown slapstick sitcom.

While the other dads are still stressing over their public image and how they're coming across,

Lin Zhou munches on sunflower seeds and pats his daughter's watermelon-shaped haircut. "Come on, Tangtang. Which uncle are we messing with today?"

Tangtang looks up at him, tilts her head, thinks for a moment, then clenches her little fist and says in a babyish voice:

"Uncle Director said he bought lots of chocolate..."

"Let's go!"
