I’m a Delivery Guy, and Guan Yu Lives Inside Me

At three in the morning, I got an order to deliver to an unfinished building.

The customer’s note read: “Bring a knife. Cash payment.”

I pushed open the rusted iron door, and a bloodstained roll of banknotes was held out from the shadows.

“Insufficient energy. Please recharge.” The Guan Yu statue in my arms suddenly began to tremble.

Trembling, I lit up my phone and scanned the code

A flash of red, and a Green Dragon Crescent Blade was pressed against the other person’s neck.

“Mortal,” I heard my own voice ring out, solemn as a bell. “Your QR code can’t scan for good karma.”
